Although born and raised in Pennsylvania, Sharon considers herself a half-Italian, half-Pennsylvania Dutch Floridian after living in the south for most of her life. She and her husband, Larry, moved to the Panhandle in the early 80s and fell in love with the white sands and turquoise waters. They soon had five children and Sharon discovered her degree in biology paved the way for becoming a jack-of-all-trades as she juggled the needs of her growing family and taught middle school and high school classes. Now Sharon still teaches, travels whenever she can, and weaves stories around the people she encounters on her many adventures.
